I had spent three weeks of December in the cold of Hanoi and got back to Koh Samui just in time for a Slovakian couple's wedding a few days ago (that's for those who might have asked Where the hell I was going) You will see the photos by the end of this post, but let me show you my at-the-moment excitement first: We (me and Matt) have done a simple Barn Props set-up for future elopements or wedding photoshoots and it looked (quite) great. The whole purpose was to see how quickly a set-up can be done what WHATEVER we had around the neighborhood. Since it was a last-minute game, we chose the abandoned house next door as our background to save some time. Some basic style-guides:
Theme: (will-be-more) Rustic-Barn/GardenFlowers: White orchid & Hedera, Butterfly Peas and a few can-not-named plantsColour: Green-White with a dash of red.

Forget tape, you might want to use steel string instead since it can easily be formed/bent and it's waterproof. Next time I will follow this inspiration https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFGNacz7oGo |

We found many crystal vases and glasses in the basement but unluckily we could not find any flowers to fill them up. |

Have you ever seen a ring dropped on a beach and got lost in the sand? Ring basket is here to save you. |

4m-wide doors as the background. |

Mirrors always add natural light to the scene. |

The post cards were gifts from Jakarta Wedding Fair 2015. Lovely masterpieces! |

Literally "rustic" door pulls. |

The butterfly peas join, too |

Me picking the Calamagrostis Karl Foerster in the grass field next door. (It was fun although we didn't add them at last. Maybe next time when I have more colours in my flower palette) |
Let's take a look at another garden themed engagement shoot in Bantai beach last summer
